For me, most of the greatest mainstream music ever written was product of the 90's. Perhaps it's only because that was when I grew up, and it's what was always on the radio in my house, but at any rate, I know I'm not laone in my opinion.
So, I'm always on the look out for music that came out of the 90's, but has somewhat been forgotten, as it was kind of a while ago, and a lot of it doesn't get played on the radio anymore. I've found a bunch of my favorites, but there's always more to be rediscovered. So please share! I'll start:
Alana Davis - 32 Flavors
Audioslave - Like a Stone
Better Than Ezra
Blind Melon - No Rain
Blink 182 - What's My Age Again
Coldplay - Yellow
Collective Soul - The World I Know
Counting Crows - Around Here; Hanging Around
The Cranberries - Linger
David Gray - Babylon
Default - Wasting MyTime
Dishwalla - Counting Blue Cars
Duncan Sheik - Barely Breathing
Edwin McCaine - I'll Be
Filter - Take a Picture
Foo Fighters - Learn to Fly
Fuel - Bad Day; Falls on Me; Shimmer
Goo Goo Dolls - Black Balloon; Iris; Name; Slide
Harvey Danger - Flagpole Sitta
Jason Mraz - The Remedy
Jimmy Eat World - In the Middle
Linkin Park - In the End
Lit - My Own Worst Enemy
Matchbox 20 - Unwell
Melissa Ethridge - Come to My Window
Moby - Porceline
Oasis - Champaigne Supernova; Wonderwall
Our Lady Peace - Somewhere Out There
R.E.M - Losing My Religion
Spin Doctors - Two Princes
Sugar Ray
Vertical Horizon - You're a God; Everything You Want; Grey Sky Morning
Ok, I think that's a good list to get started! I can add more later, too, but I'd also like ot hear from everyone else!!
